Six Years!

So much has happened over the past few months both in Nicaragua and here in the States! In Nicaragua we completed our 6th school year and graduation ceremonies! It is so hard to believe that six years are in the books!! In fact, school year number 7 started this week and I look forward to sharing that soon.

Our Nicaraguan team also brought Christmas to the families in our single mother program, delivered back to school supplies, and participated in various back to school events. It has been a full few months!

On a personal note, I got engaged (what?!) to my beautiful girlfriend, Michelle! We are both so happy!

Needless to say, a lot has been going on. So, rather than drain everything right now, I thought I would post pictures that you can scroll through and enjoy.

Thank you to everyone that has helped make this possible!

I hope each of you enjoy the pictures below from our Tipitapa graduation!

Awesome update! I love how proud the parents look walking their kids down the aisle. :)

Generational blessing Chris! Congratulations to both you and Michelle on your engagement!

  3. chris says:

Thanks, Melody! You’re right – the pride in the parents is so fun to see. One of my favorite parts of the job.

Thank you, Jimmy! Looking forward to celebrating the news in person someday soon!

  4. Karen Sanderson says:

That is so exciting, Chris! Do you feel like a proud papa, too? You should. These are all your kids.

And, OH MY GOODNESS! You are engaged? That is fantastic. And she is beautiful! God bless you both. (Wait, has she met your dad yet? ;-) Much love to you all!

  5. chris says:

Thanks, Karen! Yes – sometimes I do feel like a proud papa! Though the real credit goes to our team in-country! And thank you for the congrats. I happen to agree she is beautiful :) And yep – she has even met my dad and hasn’t gone running for the hills just yet!
