Saying Goodbye

With very mixed emotions, I wanted to let everyone know that Harvy passed away yesterday. Over the past month his health had deteriorated rapidly and there was very little we could do for him other than make sure he knew he was loved and that he was as comfortable as he could be. On one hand we are all so very sad to tell him goodbye, but on the other hand we are all so very comforted by the thought that he is no longer in pain but rather in Heaven, at peace with the Lord.

The funeral will be held today at 2pm. Please keep his family, friends, and our team in your prayers – especially his mother, Sylvia.

Thank you to everyone that has supported and prayed for him and his family through this process. It has made an eternal difference.

More to come soon.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

- John 14:1-4

“Dear Father. Please bless Sylvia with peace and thankfulness and please tell Harvy “hi” from all of his brothers and sisters still here on earth. We’ll see you again some day. Thank you, Father, for his precious life and for those who loved and ministered to him. In Jesus The Saviour’s name, Amen”.
